Golf Performance

Identify movement limitations, improve force production, and optimize the physical components of your golf game through comprehensive movement assessment, advanced performance testing, and individualized programming.

LSP Process

Step 1 – Assess

History & Performance Interview

Every assessment begins with a discussion of your golf history, injury history, current training, goals, and performance concerns. Understanding your background helps guide the assessment and ensures recommendations are individualized to your needs.

TPI Movement Screen

Evaluate golf-specific movement patterns, mobility, stability, posture, and rotational control to identify physical limitations that may influence swing mechanics and performance.

VALD Performance Testing

Measure mobility, range of motion, strength, force production, and side-to-side asymmetries using advanced VALD performance technology.

Step 2 – Understand

Your assessment findings are combined with clinical expertise and movement analysis to explain how your body influences your golf swing. Together, we'll identify the physical factors affecting power, consistency, mobility, and overall performance, then prioritize the areas with the greatest opportunity for improvement.

Step 3 – Train

Put your assessment into action with a personalized performance program built around your results. Strength, mobility, and corrective exercises are delivered through MoveHealth by VALD, providing access to your prescribed exercise program, educational content, testing results, and progress tracking. Golf-specific drills and movement recommendations are delivered through the TPI Client app to reinforce movement quality and support continued performance development.

Access to both platforms is provided as part of your Golf Performance Profile through Laboratory Sports Performance.

Step 4 – Reassess

Follow-up testing measures changes in mobility, strength, and force production to objectively track your progress, refine your program, and document measurable improvements over time.
